As the name suggests, Fantasy cricket lets you create a simulated cricket team, selecting 11 players from a forthcoming real-life match. It's pretty easy. To win, you have to gain as many points as possible to get to the top of the leaderboard.

To do this, you have to select the best 11 players from both teams on the given day. Once the team is locked, the captain and vice-captain are selected. You'll get points based on how your selected players did. When you play fantasy cricket, each player earns points depending on how many runs they score, how many wickets they scalp, catches they take, and more.

The game of fantasy cricket is one of pure skill that demands thorough analysis and respect for the game. Your XI for the fantasy league you're playing depends on many factors, like the pitch, the weather, players' form, and most importantly, the toss.

Choose a match

The user can either click the match directly to select a particular match or search for matches based on series. The app will also display matches in two categories - Live and Upcoming - so that users can easily navigate from one match to another.

On one hand, there are the matches, which the user can select and enter into a contest for playing, and on the other hand, upcoming matches serve mainly as a means of gaining knowledge on how future matches might be

There will be a timer that shows how much time it's left to join a fantasy cricket contest for the match.

vA user who does not participate in a contest within the indicated timeframe will be deemed to have expired and will no longer be eligible for selection.

Here's what your fantasy cricket team needs

  • Wicket-Keepers (Minimum - 1, Maximum - 4)
  • Batsmen (Minimum - 3, Maximum - 6)
  • All-rounders (Minimum - 1, Maximum - 4)
  • Bowlers (Minimum - 3, Maximum - 6)

Name your Captain and Vice-Captain

Your team's captain and vice-captain should now be chosen after picking your team.

You will get 3x points from your captain and 2x points from the vice-captain.

Matches - Results

After the match ends, you will find the results of your team in the My Matches section - Result tab.

Leaderboard

On the 'leaderboard' of a particular contest you joined with that team, you'll see your team's rank both during and after the match.

Your earnings

If your team finishes in the top rank of a contest, you stand a chance of winning a certain amount. You will receive it right into your wallet.

Players' Performance

Don't get caught up in the hype when selecting a player. You can get a sense of the players' performance by looking at their recent form

Going for one-day wonders or players who are suddenly in their elements can harm your score too. There is no telling when they will shut down, so go with classic players with good form.

Analyze Pitch & Weather

The weather and field conditions influence the outcome of the game. Spinners are best in dry pitch and swing bowlers when it is green.

Knowing the weather and pitch helps. Combining it with the players who perform well in those conditions and angles is crucial. Look over the previous matches and figure out who your team needs.

Leading Batsmen

During a limited over game, the top-order batsmen often plays the most balls. Select them as they are the ones who will score the most.

Choosing batters and bowlers is a big task. You can choose from both teams, so pick as many top batters as you can from both teams. This will help you score no matter how the match goes.

Captain and Vice-captain

A team's captain and vice-captain will set your fantasy team. Choosing an all-rounder in excellent form as captain is the best decision.

Go for the best scoring captain and vice-captain. Don’t just go for both the team’s captains as your team’s captain and vice-captain because that will not always come in handy for you in hard times.

Right Combination

For your fantasy team, you can select 11 players from a combination of wicket keepers (1-4), batsmen (3-6), bowlers (3-6) and all-rounders (1-4).

Even though the result of the match does not affect your score, the scoring of each player does, so choose your batters, bowlers, and wicket-keepers wisely. Choosing all-rounders is the best.
